Commission a Pet Portrait

Want to commission me to draw a pet portrait for you? That's great! Let's go over the information to do that.

Steps:

1. Get everything ready! Choose a photo of your pet for me to draw. I can include a simple color block as a background if you would like, or I will leave the background plain. Find below examples of good versus bad photos to send to me. Feel free to send multiple photo options; I reserve the right to decline photos to draw for whatever reason.

2. Let me know what size you would like the portrait to be, and what medium as well (graphite or colored pencil, see below for examples of my work with each). Please see below for the sizes available, as well as pricing. Pricing varies by size and medium. 

3. Once we figure out all of the details, pay me half of the payment up front (I take Venmo or PayPal), and I'll begin working on your commission! This is nonrefundable. Please give me roughly one month to complete the piece. I will send progress photos to update you as I work on it, as well as a photo of the final result.

4. If you're happy with the result, I'll take the second half of the payment, and ship your portrait out to you.

Photos

I specialize in realistic pet portraits based on photos. Please send me a photo of your pet, and I will recreate that photo! I do not include the backgrounds, just the pet, but we can discuss a simple color block of a background, if you would like. I can include simple objects, like smaller toys, as well.

Please provide a good photograph of your pet for me to draw. This includes a photo with a good, strong, and clear light source, and a photo that is not blurry, but has clear, sharp detail. Photos taken from closer to your pet is ideal for this. Here are examples of good photos:
